This is a quick video of how to score 640 or even 650 (which I believe is the maximum). The throwing must requires that the center of the green SPEED and ANGLE bars are where the bar touches before reversing the direction of said bar with the D-Pad. If the frisbee flies off of the screen and touches the bottom of the red bar map, then the throw was done correctly. Move all the way to the end of the map, diving back to the left to snag the frisbess with a dive to score the maximum catching points. The first few attempts are me goofing around, and they demonstrate how close to spot on you need for a HUGE throw.
