Trog! (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Acclaim's 1991 arcade-style action game for the NES, Trog! This video shows the entire game being finished in a single credit. No warps were used. Trog! was a 1990 Midway arcade title that featured cycloptic cavemen - "trog"lodytes - that constantly try to eat the player's dinosaur as it scours the fifty stages for lost eggs. It's somewhat like PacMan, but with a lot more chaos, violence, and humor. Though it has been cut down considerably from the original arcade game (the claymation graphics have been replaced with more traditional spritework and two playable characters have been removed), the gameplay stays faithful and the graphics still look good by NES standards. The detailed death animations in particular are highlights - it's brutal to see yourself reduced to a stack of bones! Trog! isn't a terribly hard game, but it does push back enough that you probably won't get through it the first time you play. Practice does make perfect, and the better you get, the more fun the game tends to become. If you want something that's a bit quirky with high production values, Trog! is well worth picking up. _ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. NintendoComplete (
