От Металлического Ключа К Блестящему Острому Лезвию 🔥 Процесс Ковки Ножа

Welcome back to my blacksmithing workshop! In this video, I take an old metal wrench and transform it into a shiny, sharp, and fully functional knife. This is one of my favorite kinds of projects — turning ordinary scrap metal into something beautiful and useful through heat, hammer, and hard work. Every knife has its own story, and this one began as a forgotten wrench — rough, rusty, and lifeless. I started by cutting the wrench and heating it up in the forge until it glowed bright orange. The heat makes the steel soft enough to shape, and that’s when the real forging begins. Using my hammer and anvil, I carefully stretched and flattened the steel, forming the blade profile and tang. The forging process is always intense — fire, sparks, and the rhythm of hammer blows filling the air. After shaping the knife, I normalized the steel to relieve internal stress and prepare it for hardening. Then came the heat treatment: heating the blade to the right temperature and quenching it in oil to lock in strength and durability. The sound of hot steel hitting oil is something every blacksmith loves — it’s the sound of transformation. Once the blade was hardened, I moved on to grinding and polishing. This is where the knife really comes to life. I refined the bevels, thinned the edge, and smoothed the surface until the steel began to shine like a mirror. Step by step, the tool that once turned bolts became a sharp, elegant blade. After sharpening, I tested the knife’s edge — and it cut beautifully. The combination of recycled metal and handcrafted precision made this piece unique. What started as a simple wrench ended up as a one-of-a-kind custom knife with a perfect balance of strength, sharpness, and style. I always enjoy giving new life to old metal. It’s a reminder that even the most ordinary things can be reborn through craftsmanship and passion. Knife making is more than just shaping steel — it’s about patience, precision, and creativity. Every spark, every hammer strike brings the metal closer to perfection.
