There's a couple new things in this run. The first thing I found is a strat on the ending where you don't need to be on the finish platform to activate the finish, you can be to the side and trigger the finish. It saves a little bit of time, It's hard to say how much. The other new thing is a consistency strat that ‪@JustTamari‬ found. It involves shooting the enemy on the water early with the Stomp. All you need to do is 2 damage so that you can finish it off with 1 Godspeed bullet and 1 katana hit. This is better because you normally have to shoot 2 Godspeed bullets after the barrel boost, which makes it difficult to get onto the water as fast as possible. This new way helps you to get this section more consistent. Not sure if its technically faster, but its definitely more consistent for me. This record is still very improvable, I'm interested what times people will get in the future.
