I might be just too old for this kinda games, but I doubt this would keep young kids entertained for long. There isn't much to do, only one minigame, cosmetic items either require a crazy amount of points or need to be dug out during these boring walks. This feels a bit like Dogz 2 / Catz 2 which also felt shallow to me. The only good virtual pet game I can remember was Petz 5.
