Space Giraffe first 16 levels

Decided to give Space Giraffe a spin & ended up recording the first 16 levels, plus bonus stage, and thought.... well, there aren't many videos of this superb game up on YouTube, so here you are in 1080p60. Yes, the game has Tempest in its DNA (the developer, Jeff Minter, is also responsible for the acclaimed Tempest 2000 (Atari Jaguar, PC, Sega Saturn & a slightly butchered version on PlayStation called Tempest X3 which has Tempest 2000 as an unlockable) and TxK (Vita). But you won't get very far playing Space Giraffe like Tempest, though. The game mechanic is hinged on getting multipliers. You get multipliers by 'bullying' the most common enemies off the rim of the web. You can only 'bully' them off by colliding with them when the charge zone is extended far enough down the web. You extend the charge zone by shooting enemies, but then if they're shot you can't bully them off & you don't increase your multiplier... see the balanced mechanic? Trust me, it's great. Poured hours into this on 360 (where it was only 400 points) and hours more into the PC version on Steam.
