An Octave Higher – So Beautiful And Lost (VN review)

A review of visual novel An Octave Higher (2015) by Kidalang. Welcome to Overture, a city where magic meets the sensibilities of 19th century Europe, complete with exploited working class and colonialism! This ambitious game is perhaps better remembered for the easygoing adventures of its first half than whatever it develops into, but it's worth playing for the unique setting alone.
