SNES - Super Nazo Puyo: Rulue no Roux Speedrun (Rulue's Story) -

A speedrun through Rulue's story in Super Nazo Puyo. So this interesting game in the Puyo Puyo series has you pick between 2 characters (Arle Nadja and Rulue), each with their own little story. You walk around meeting with other characters to solve preset Puyo puzzles. For a puzzle/RPG kind of game, this has very little RNG in it. Despite that, runs of this game are extremely difficult to optimize, and often mistakes add up quickly. Rulue's story introduces Iron Puyo and Block Puyo. Iron Puyo are very similar to Garbage Puyo, except that they can't be cleared from the screen when you clear regular Puyos next to it. Block Puyo are similar to Iron Puyo, except that they are not affected by gravity at all. A solid run overall, could've been a low 23 minute time if it weren't for a couple costly mistakes near the end. Will look to try for under 23 minutes in the future. Enjoy! Splits:
