A beginning to end playthrough of Sierra's 1994 PC graphic adventure game: Police Quest: Open Season. This is quite a different game from PQ3. The procedural stuff has largely been dispensed with, there is finally no driving for the player to suffer through, and the graphics have all been switched to digitized stills and motion captured sprites that sometimes look great, and oftentimes look horrendous. Still though, given the age and the game's ambitious approach, all turned out pretty well. The story is lacking a bit, but the path that it leads you down by the nose does provide a pretty entertaining couple of hours. Detective Cary is a bit blah, but just wait til you see the ending. I don't think any game has ever topped the epicness of the final five minutes of this game. Look at it, it really is a must. No cheats were used during the recording of this video. NintendoComplete (
