This delightful short film is the earliest surviving Oz film adaptation. It is strongly rumored that Bebe Daniels appears as Dorothy, but all contemporary documentation on this film is long lost, so we may never know for certain. The earlier "Fairylogue and Radio Plays" films, featuring Baum's characters, are lost, leaving this film the earliest piece of the Oz film puzzle. This film was followed by three sequels, all sadly lost to the ages.
