Discussing and playing Sierra On-Line's classic adventure game, Manhunter 2: San Francisco, released in 1989. Manhunter 2 is the final game to use Sierra's Adventure Game Interpreter (AGI) engine, and it continues the weird, dystopian fiction introduced in Manhunter: New York. It's filled with the same gory scenery, annoying minigames, and constant tonal whiplash as its predecessor, as the nameless titular Manhunter pursues archnemesis Phil Cook across the United States. After this game, it's not really surprising that the third installment in the series -- Manhunter 3: London -- never surfaced... but all the same, it's too bad that this strange story had to end on a crazy cliffhanger.
