Test of 3rd person fighting mechanics. Player (in the flying vehicle) vs AI (in the buggy). Vehicles on fire will burn down unless the fire is dealt with, so technically this one's a draw in the end as the AI got in a lucky punch at the end, but at least the AI bit the dust first :) Vehicle turrets on all vehicles will track their targets but are restricted by their turret base type (which defines one set of firing arcs), as well as the specific vehicle mount point arc restrictions (i.e. to avoid hitting the vehicle itself). there are many types of turrets, and not all are weapons-oriented. Tractor beams, boosts, shields, fire suppressant for example. Each vehicle has a limited number of turret mount points, but you can have many vehicles. Weapons are basic starter ones and do not have aim adjustment for gravity & distance. Definitely need to add more buildings in (duh!), but tall towers to weave between would add some better tactical options than just running around each other, like the start of this when the silo blocked the incoming fire for a bit. I should have run away at the end rather than continue though! Controls are as basic and as PC as possible, WASD or arrow keys for direct vehicle control, and the mouse manages the turrets, as well as the altitude* in first person mode, not in this video. Maybe the next one! where applicable!
