Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars - PlayStation 2 Gameplay

A chariot racing game for the PlayStation 2! This game wasn't really that well-received on its release in 2002, but isn't actually that bad. Races take place in various locations across the Roman Empire, and you get to pick from a choice of vehicles and riders. It's not just a case of racing opponents - you have to fight them too to knock them off their chariots. As chariots aren't the most sturdy of vehicles known to man, it's quite easy to topple over in them if corners are taken too sharply. This video shows two races, one in Britannia and one in Cyprus. As this is the first time I've played the game for about a decade, I was a little rusty and spent most of my time colliding with obstacles and falling off roads. But still, it was a fun journey nevertheless!
