Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson part 1: a world without Yumi

This game's opening sequence might be confusing to some people, so let me give you a brief explanation of where it fits in the timeline. Shinovi Versus and all subsequent games take place after the end of Burst's Hebijo route. Deep Crimson, on the other hand, is on a completely separate timeline following a modified version of Burst's Hanzo route. These first few episodes are retconning the ending to set up a new story path. In this timeline, Gessen never makes a move against Hanzo, and Miyabi's new Hebijo team is never formed. As such, those groups do not appear in this story. However, as you may have noticed from the game's OP, it does introduce two very important characters to the franchise who would later appear in Estival Versus.
